Charles Hollwey

Chair

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants having qualified in 1983 and a Member of the Institute of Health Service Management, Charles is a retired NHS Chief Executive. His overall career in the NHS lasted 32 years and included being a Finance Director, Commissioning Director and Manager of community services.

 

Since leaving the NHS he has undertaken a number of roles, in particular with regard to setting up Social Enterprises and developing new health facilities through private and public partnerships. He is currently Chair of the Barking, Dagenham & Havering Community Ventures and North London Estate Partnership which are both NHS Local Investment Finance Trusts. Additionally he is Treasurer of Haven House Children’s Hospice in North East London.

Ian Tayler

Director

Ian is the BBGI representative on the Board.  He is a Chartered Management Accountant and has a wealth of corporate and operational experience of delivering and managing public sector contracts and PPP/PFI schemes across several different sectors.

Frank Schramm

Director

Mr. Schramm has worked in the PPP sector, investment banking and advisory business for over 19 years. Prior to his current role with the Group, he worked at the Bilfinger Project Investments (BPI) which he led as Co-Managing Director the European PPP operations with over 60 staff. In this role, he was responsible for the asset management of over 20 PPP investments with a project volume of about EUR 4 billion, and for acting as shareholder representative in various key investments. In addition to that he was responsible for the European development activities.

 

Prior to that role, Mr. Schramm was Finance Director of the PPP operations in Continental Europe at BPI and was responsible for all project finance activities. Mr. Schramm was also responsible for the sale of PPP assets in 2010, 2007 and 2006. While at BPI, Mr. Schramm was involved in over 15 PPP procurements and was involved in either the procurement or the asset management of most of the European investments within the existing portfolio.

Jamie Andrews

Director

Jamie’s early career was in Architecture, working in conservation and residential sector before moving to a role in the NHS supporting investment in primary and dental premises. This developed into a full time estates role which included strategic estates planning and project management.

After several years in the private sector consultancy services working in 3pd, LIFT, PFI and capital developments in the UK and abroad Jamie returned to the NHS in 2007, taking a PCT role where he set up and led the Strategic Asset Management Function eventually transferring the assets and staff into NHS Property Services.

Jamie took up the role of Investment Director for Community Health Partnerships looking after their investment portfolio of LIFT Schemes in London. Alongside this regional role Jamie took on a national responsibility to develop CHP’s innovation programme for the improved delivery of new schemes and efficiency of existing estate.
