Providing a modern dental facility to ensure CQC compliance

BDH Community Ventures were commissioned by NHS Barking and Dagenham

to develop a dental facility that would provide greatly needed NHS dentistry services to the East Dagenham Community, improving oral health within the borough.

We worked closely with the Client to create a bespoke solution and transform

a 2 bedroom bungalow into a modern dental facility.

We delivered a full solution to the client undertaking lease negotiations, tender of a contractor and full project management for the refurbishment in the tight timescale of 7 weeks.

Intricate design and re-modelling of the existing site in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) has ensured a dentistry facility that is accessible to everyone.

The new facility adheres to all new standards of infection control and Practice Premises regulations as implemented by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in April 2011.
